One Size Really DOES Fit All

We’ve all seen this adage printed on products and repeated in TV commercials. One size fits all! Yet, to our dismay, this just isn’t the case sometimes.

Gloves Come In All Sizes and Colors – One Size Does Not Fit All

I use several types of gloves around the home for different purposes. When I am seeding the yard to repair drought damage, I wear gloves to prevent fertilizer from leeching into my hands and skin from the coated seeds. I use gloves when spraying any chemicals around my shrubs, trees and bushes. I also use gloves when I am painting inside or outside of my home.

Latex gloves quickly deteriorate over time, so I purchase the gloves in small quantities. And sometimes, I am forced to purchase the……….you guessed it……….the One Size Fits All. I can’t always find the gloves in the small, medium and xtra-large selections.

I don’t have particularly large hands, but the truth is, One Size Doesn’t Fit All when putting on latex gloves or other types of gloves. The latex gloves generally tear apart before I can get my fat fingers in the appropriate holes. At least that is my experience.

Don’t Cast Your Fishing Rod Too Often

When I am not working inside or outside of my home on “improvement” projects, I enjoy learning all I can about designing web pages and making money from my efforts. WARNING: If you have any desire to design web pages or earn money from Internet marketing, the learning curve can be unsettling and costly if you cast your fishing rod too often to reach your vision.

I speak from personal experience. I have literally spent thousands of dollars on web design and development programs, hosting services, traveling costs, etc. and discovered the true meaning of “exasperation” along the way. My ideas and visions were sound, but the experience of working alone and without robust feedback and training eventually led to a complete dead end. Internet technology was changing constantly and I simply couldn’t keep up without purchasing the “latest and greatest” in development programs. I was on a merry-go-round, round and round in circles, with no feasible path for reaching my vision.
